A trip to Kerala is not complete without visiting the sights of the famous port city of Cochin. For the culture vultures we have this extravaganza. A tour that combines the best of the Central Kerala with some of the iconic monuments, little known monuments away from the tourist track and time at the palm fringed beaches of Cherai. The beauty of this is that you don`t need pack and unpack as they can all be done with Madilina House as a base. This tour is specially curated for our guests.

                                                                                 Tour Itinerary

Day 1       Arrive Cochin and transfer to Chendamangalam. Stay at the Madilina House for 6 nights. Remainder of the day will be at leisure to soak in the atmosphere of a village in Kerala.

Day 2       Start exploring the heritage sights of area on a Tuk-Tuk. This private sightseeing tour will include the famous temple at Kodungalur, the Cheraman Mosque and local sights. Later return back to Madilina.

Day 3       A further tour of Chendamangalam which will include the ancient Jewish Synagogues at Paravoor and Chendamangalam, ancient markets and the church where St Thomas the apostle is supposed to have baptised the first christians in Kerala. Stay at Madilina House.

Day 4       Drive to Cochin in the morning. Enjoy a full day explore of the heritage part of Fort Cochin and Mattencherry. Lunch will with a local family so you get to experience the local way of life. Evening enjoy a Kathakali performance. Later return to Madilina House.

Day 5       After a relaxed breakfast by the riverside enjoy a Tuk-Tuk ride to the beach at Cherai. Enjoy a relaxed day on the beach. Shower and locker facility will arranged at our sister concern The Chilli Out Cafe, right on the beach. After a sundowner and dinner at Chilli Out return back to Madilina House.

Day 6      Day at leisure at Madilina. You could maybe go on a kayaking trip or a boat cruise to explore the waterways near the island. 

Day 7      Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

✓ All bookings and confirmations are subject to availability.
✓ 100% payment should be done before the trip begins.
✓ Amendment charges, cancellation charges will be applicable as per our terms & conditions.
✓ Any increase in the hotel tariffs, fuel charges or taxes, which may come into effect prior to the
departure, will lead to an increase in the tour price. Any difference in the price will be payable by the
client.
✓ There will be no refund on unused service.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s
whatsoever, we must be intimated in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date of
receipt of your letter. The cancellation charges are appended herewith:
✓ 60 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost
✓ 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost
✓ 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost
✓ 14 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost
✓ 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND
